About This Puja
Pitru Paksha is the sixteen-tithi fortnight dedicated to the ancestors, when Shraddha, tarpan and pind daan carry the greatest merit. In this special mahapuja our pandits perform the Pitru Shanti rituals on your behalf across all sixteen tithis — the sankalp in your name and gotra, til tarpan with black sesame and kush, pind daan for the departed, and deep daan at the close of each day — so that every ancestor in the lineage receives their offering.

Process & What's Included
Book with the names of the departed and your own name and gotra for the sankalp. The pandits perform the sixteen-tithi rituals from Purnima Shraddha to Sarva Pitru Amavasya, with til tarpan, pind daan and deep daan each day. You receive photos and video of the rituals on WhatsApp, and the blessed prasad is delivered to your home after the puja.
About the Temple
The mahapuja is performed at the sacred Pitru Tirtha where Shraddha rites hold the highest merit, by experienced pandits versed in the Pitru Karma tradition.
